The Brain Activity System

Training Attention, Memory, Courage & Multi-tasking Through the Body

1. Overview & Definition

Dr. Arawindhan's core philosophy made practical. While traditional schooling measures recall through exam marks, Brain Activity is the engine of mental muscle that can be trained through repetition, challenge, and recovery. Two children may both score 95%, but possess completely different brain architecture; ACHARIYA develops the deeper capacity.

2. Conceptualization & Leadership

Conceived and designed by Dr. J. Arawindhan since 2000; codified, tested, and scaled across campuses through the ACHARIYA Centre of Excellence (CoE) and faculty development academies.

3 & 4. Operational Mechanics & Core Principles

  • The Five Arts: Silambam (overcoming fear of heights/dark), Malkhamb (building Thunivu / grit), Yoga, Chess, and Golden Smile Meditation.
  • The Invisible Curriculum: Ball juggling for every child, cup stacking, 40 kinds of rope knots, towel folding, and Rubik’s cube.
  • Progression from single-tasking to parallel processing to true multi-tasking.
  • Cultivates the Signature Effect (Seyalthiram) and neuro-agility.
  • Guiding principle: "School starts at Home, continues at School, and it should end at Home, easily."

5. Implementation & Target Learners

Implemented across 101 ACHARIYA-affiliated schools, 18 higher education colleges, and 9 Heguru centres, catering to age groups spanning toddlerhood (6 months) through Grade 12.

6. Documented Evidence & Reach

  • 222 Guinness and World records achieved in open and blindfolded cognitive activities.
  • The Five Arts are woven into the mandatory school schedule across campuses.
  • Every single child is trained in bilateral ball juggling as core neuro-infrastructure.
Factual Integrity & Scope Notes
